Teardrops in the Rain is a simple story of love, told from the perspective of Noah McGillibin, a fresh graduate from the University of British Columbia, who is preparing for a new life abroad as a Canadian consulate official in Saudi Arabia. Having found, Sara, the woman with whom he wants to spend the rest of his life, the story takes place over the last nine days before his wedding amongst all the stress, confusion and emotional turmoil that he experiences while he prepares to make the biggest commitment of his life. Teardrops in the Rain is not merely a story of cold feet, rather it is the simple tale of a heart-broken boy trying to find his way by discovering who he is, how to be a man, and how to love.
